Heya,

Do to some weird issues on server #1 - I've decided to just reinstall it and see if that solves the issues.

Nothing really bad its just some weird bug causing the admin menu's and some other stuff to bug out / not work.

Hopefully this will sort it, if not it will have to be investigated further....

The reinstall will take about 40-60 mins.... then I have to redo all the plugins,confs etc so it will be down for a few hours most likely (I'm slow

so I dont mess things up )

EDIT: reinstall has been completed and has helped alot

time will tell if the problem comes back again.

Hey,

Normally I dont do these that often and only when needed.

The stats were a little messy and accounts that have been banned etc were on there and quite a large number of dead/unused accounts.

This will decrease lag on the stats site when searching stats and just looking around. It might also stop some gameserver lag as its not having to sift through 1000's of accounts etc.

I dont plan on doing another one unless its needed.

Everyone has been reset including myself so please no moaning

it had to be done.

Hey,

For a little while I've been using the extended chat logs system which basically records the ingame chat and then saves it all to a sql database. And then we use a web interface to view the logs in fancy form.

Its not working as well as I would have liked and seems theres more wrong with it than I first thought.

For this reason I have removed the system and have put in another one that doesnt use sql but simply logs to a txt file. I will upload these txt files to the forums download system for now which can be

found by clicking the "Downloads" button on the menu bar at the top of every page on forum. Can click here too: http://tloeg.net/downloads

Now this wont be live like the last one but its still a record and there for whoever to look at. I will try to make sure I upload the files daily so it should only be a day behind (24 hrs). Will get the first one uploaded tonight just as date changes to next day.

I think this will work out better and lighten up some of the load on the webserver and gameserver.

As always any problems, comments and or criticisms please let me know.

Well all that white was blinding me so thought I would try out a darker theme.

Forums not being used much but if you notice anything not right then let me know... will test theme out for a while.

Put banner/logo up as well... will be getting a new one soon but will do for now

Seems the L4D server is down atm, have contacted hosting company to find out whats wrong with it.

It was having small issues last night as well.

Will update when I know more.
